Tina Green and Shannon Berry founded DeLish Catering in 2005. Through their agreement with Lardo’s Restaurant in McCall, Idaho, they were able to take over the catering end of that business. Lardo’s Restaurant, a 33 year pillar of the community, was looking for the right people to uphold their high standards. For Tina and Shannon, it was a dream come true. Both of them growing up in the the Lake Tahoe resort community gave them experience in the fine dining and service industry. Shannon's family has been in the restaurant business for years. Her mother, Connie, founded and ran a restaurant in Truckee, CA. Her sisters and brother all helped around the restaurant. Shannon's sister's chili recipe recently won an award in the McCall Chili Cook-off. Tina's responsibilities extend beyond running a business. It is probably her experience managing a household of eight that gives her an advantage in maintaining a business. Tina and Mike have managed many successful businesses in the past, and it is also with the support of her family that makes DeLish Catering so successful. Their love of cooking shows in every meal they prepare. Making delicious food that pleases all senses, not just the palate, is what they strive for. Aesthetics are very important to them and their gourmet flair is apparent in all aspects of their presentation.
